2019-2020 COANJ Officers Installed at Annual Conference

A new slate of officers for 2019-2020 were sworn-in at the 2019 Annual COANJ Conference held at The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village.  A large number of attendees from all 21 Counties, in addition to nearly 30 vendors who exhibited at the Trade Show and a vast array of speakers and informational seminars highlighted a very successful Conference.

Camden County Surrogate Michelle Gentek-Mayer was installed as the new President.  Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami-Covello was installed as Vice President.  Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon was installed as Secretary, and Cape May County Surrogate Dean R. Marcolongo is returning as the  Treasurer.

Somerset County Clerk Steve Peter will serve as the Section Chief for the County Clerk’s and Registers.  Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy is the Section Chief for the Sheriffs, and Dean Marcolongo is the Surrogates Section Chief.

Outgoing President Scott M. Colabella selected Monmouth County Surrogate Rosemarie Peters as the recipient of the Gill C. Job Award for Outstanding Service and Sussex County Senior Deputy Clerk Angela Rosa was awarded the Rita M. Rosenberg Award.  Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin and Senator Samuel D. Thompson were named COANJ Legislator of the Year.
