2020-2021 COANJ Officers Installed at Ceremony in State House

As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic the 2020 COANJ Conference was cancelled this year.  However, the new officers for 2020-2021 were installed at a ceremony held at the State House in Trenton.  Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello was sworn in as COANJ President by State Senator Shirley Turner (Dist -15).  COANJ President Sollami Covello was joined by her husband, John, Deputy County Clerk Walker Worthy and State Senator Linda Greenstein (Dist-14 ) as well as Middlesex County Clerk Elaine Flynn.  Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon was installed as COANJ Vice-President, Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy was installed as COANJ Secretary and Cape May County Surrogate Dean Marcolongo as COANJ Treasurer.  In addition, Somerset County Clerk Steve Peter was sown in as County Clerks & Registers Section Chief, Sheriff Mastronardy as Sheriffs Section Chief and Hunterdon County Surrogate Susan Hoffman will serve as Surrogate Section Chief.   Until the pandemic eases all future COANJ Meetings will be held virtually.
