The members of COANJ are honored to join with elected County Officials across America in recognizing April as National County Government Month. We’re proud of the many important services our offices provide to the public and welcome our residents to learn about the many vital functions we administer.
Our Sheriff’s sponsor community crime prevention programs and maintain the safety/security of our courts. The Surrogate’s probate wills and process adoptions. The County Clerk’s & Registers record property records. The County Clerk’s also administer elections and process passports as well as many other services.
These are just a few of the vast array of services and functions provided by our New Jersey Constitutional Officers in all 21 Counties throughout the State of New Jersey.
