The Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey (COANJ) held their March Meeting virtually. Dr. David Adinaro, Deputy Commissioner of Public Health, New Jersey State Department of Health was the featured guest speaker. Dr. Adinaro addressed County Clerks, Surrogates, Sheriffs & Registers regarding COVID-19 vaccinations and Public Employees. The Deputy Commissioner had a slide presentation full of statistics and facts with regard to the number of vaccines administered throughout the State and outlined actions the State is taking to educate the public on the COVID pandemic. Members were also provided with an opportunity to ask questions to the Deputy Commissioner.
Section reports were given and a discussion on the impact of Daniel’s Law on the Constitutional Officers respective offices as well as Early Voting also took place during the virtual session.
