Women’s Right to Vote – 100 Yr Celebration 1920-2020
The Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey (COANJ) is proud to join all Americans in marking the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution granting women the right to vote.
We urge officials at every level of government to join us in recognizing the historic milestone. We are so proud that our organization members comprise a vast number of women holding important elected Constitutional Officer posts throughout the 21 Counties in New Jersey.
New Jersey ratified the 19th Amendment on February 9, 1920. The 19th Amendment officially became part of the U.S. Constitution on August 26, 1920.
